The incident took place around 1.30 am last night when some unidentified persons entered the house of one Shishupal to steal his Buffalo, but opened fire on his son Jagmohan when he resisted.
Hearing the sound of gun shot, villagers ran for rescue but the thieves opened fire on them too ,injuring Ramji alias Pappu Valmiki and Hemendra.
All the victims were rushed to a hospital, where Shishupal and Ramji died later.
Police have registered a case and have launched a manhunt to nab those involved.
