A 17-year-old contract labourer, Ramesh was returning home at Annur from Sirumugai on his two-wheeler, when another motorcycle driven by Ramanan (22), hit it, resulting in the death of Ramanan, around 10 PM, last night,police said.
Ramesh and Prabhu, who was riding pillion on Ramanan's two-wheeler, were rushed to the Government Hospital here. However, Ramesh died before admission, and Prabhu, with minor injuries is under treatment, police said.
