Two killed in motorcycle-truck collision

Two persons were killed when their motocycle was hit by a speeding truck in Aurai area here, police said today.
The deceased have been identified as Vijay Kumar Dubey (35) and Sunil Kumar (34), they said.
Police said that the truck driver and the vehicle is yet to identified.
The incident took place yesterday following which the two seriously injured persons were rushed to a hospital, where they died during treatment, police said.
On the directive of Muzaffarpur District Magistrate
Dharmendra Singh, Sub-Divisional Officer (East) Sunil Kumar announced ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of those killed in the accident.

The blockade put up by the locals on
Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi NH 77 was lifted following the announcement made by the district administration.
