The deceased have been identified as Paramjit Singh, son of Gurmail Singh and Paramjit Singh, son of Lachhman Singh, they said.
The incident took place yesterday when the two were on their way to work, they added.
While Gurmail's son died on the spot, the other person succumbed to his injuries in a hospital, police said.
A case has been registered in this regard, police said.
