Two killed in truck-van collision

Two persons were killed and another was injured today when a speeding pick-up van rammed into a stationary truck in Bihar's Bhagalpur district, a police officer said.
The mishap took place near Bhawanipur village on NH-31 under the jurisdiction of Rangra police station.
Two occupants of the pick-up van were killed on the spot. Another person was injured in the accident, the police officer said.
They were identified as Ashok Paswan, the pick-up van driver and Ashok Yadav, a trader.
Both were residents of Lakhisarai district, Rangra police station in-charge A K Azad said.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem, he said. The injured person was sent to a hospital, he added.
