Two killed, six injured in jeep-truck collision

Two persons were killed and six others injured today when a jeep carrying them collided with a truck head on near Kailaras town in the district, police said.
The deceased were identified as jeep driver Makhan Jatav (48) and a woman Anupa (37), Kailars Police Station In-charge Ramesh Daad said.
The six injured were admitted to the district hospital, the officer said.
Soon after the mishap, the truck driver fled from the spot, he said, adding that a case has been registered in this regard and further probe is on.
