The occupants of the ill-fated car employees of HRTC were on their way from Hamirpur to Shimla to attend the Foundation Day function of HRTC at Shimla, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Manoj Kumar of Thandol village in and Mahendra Singh of Sohran village in Kangra employees while the injured persons have been rushed to Zonal Hospital, Hamirpur for treatment.
Police said that the impact of collusion was so strong that both the deceased were crushed to death inside the car and died on the spot.
