Two labourers suffocate to death
The incident took place yesterday in Sajjadbagh locality when the labourers, identified as Mohammad Ahmed (22) and Kallu (20), suffocated to death when they were cleaning a sewer line, they said.
Later, a police team reached the spot and managed to take out their bodies from the sewer.
An FIR has been lodged in this connection against the contractor for not following security measures, they added.
