The two persons, identified as Maoist party couriers -- Y Murali and G Raghupathi, were arrested from a bus last night at Chinabowinapally village in Eturunagaram mandal of the district, Mulug DSP, Muralidhar said.
One unidentified person had handed over a packet, containing Rs 8 lakh cash and some literature to the duo, which was to be couriered to another person at Chityala village in Eturunagaram mandal.
Both of them belonged to Chityala village in Eturunagaram mandal and have been working as couriers to Maoist party and have a past police record, police added.
