Ganga Basumatari and Sajed Narjinary were taken into custody by a joint team of Assam Police and Alipurduar district police in north Bengal last night.
The two were taken on transit remand by the Assam Police today to take them to Kachugaon in Kokrajhar district in connection with a case there, the police said.
