Two oil company officials arrested for taking bribe

An official with a top oil company and his assistant were arrested today for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 5000 in the district, an Anti-Corruption Bureau official said here.
"The official Ashok Sharma and his assistant Ashok Meena had demanded the bribe from a petrol pump owner to make a favourable testing report of his pump," Additional SP, ACB Ravidutt Gaur said.
Following verification of the complaint, a trap was laid and both the persons were held at a private hotel while accepting the bribe, he said.
