"Two people were killed and a 16-year-old girl sustained injuries after a lightning struck them at Alisiriya village," police inspector R K S Gaur said, adding that the injured minor has been admitted to a hospital in Shujalpur tehsil of the district.
He said that the deceased have been identified as Uday Singh (35) and Appu (50) who were both harvesting wheat crops.
The police inspector said that the injured minor girl has been identified as Kiran.
