"One Palash Mondal, a resident of Krishnanagar in Nadia district was claiming himself as Principal Secretary of Prison, Shivaji Ghosh.
And posing as the IPS officer he was demanding money from SDOs and jailors of different prisons. We got a few complaints regarding this and tracked down this person from Murshidabad," a senior officer said.
Both of them were arrested from Rejinagar police station limits of the district.
