The additional district and sessions judge, Rohtas, A.K. Verma passed the order sentencing two persons Nantu Pal and Uttam Shatrudhar to jail term of eight years and imposed Rs. 10,000 fine on each of them after finding the two guilty of the charges.
According to prosecution, Pal and Shatrudhar, natives of West Bengal, were arrested with 41 kg explosive material from Gandhi Need locality under Nagar police station area on April 23, 2010.
The explosives were later sent to a forensic laboratory where it was confirmed that the material was explosives.
