Two passengers, identified as Vinod Kanjar (30) and Sukhsen Choudhary (28) were killed after the private bus, on its way to Shahdol from Nigwahi, overturned near a petrol pump, as the driver, Nanhe Khan, lost control while overtaking another vehicle, they said.
The driver was talking on mobile phone when the accident took place, police added.
In a separate incident, 18-year-old youth identified as Balla Nayak fell into a well at Pogri village, about 12 km from here last night. Nayak was talking on his mobile phone and could not see the well, police said, adding his body was fished out today.
