Two Raj government officials arrested for taking bribe

An accountant and a lower division clerk of state government's Women and Child Development department were today arrested by the Anti Corruption Bureau for allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 in Udaipur.
Accountant Badrinarayan Meena and the clerk Suresh Chauhan had demanded the bribe from a woman, who is a retired supervisor of the department, for fixation of her salary, Inspector General Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) V K Singh said.
After verification of a complaint filed by the woman a trap was laid and the officials were arrested while accepting the bribe, he said.
