Two rly officials hit by train during inspection, die

Two railway officers were killed today after being hit by a train while they were inspecting signals between Etawah and Bharthana station here, police said.
Railway officials Vikas Kumar (27) and Mahendra Kumar (25) were killed after being hit by Delhi-Guwahati Sampark Kranti Express train here, they said.
The incident happened when they were walking along the tracks while going to inspect the signals, they added.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, police said, adding investigation into the matter is on.
