Two salesmen robbed off Rs one lakh

Two salemen, working for a Bulandshahr-based trader, were robbed off Rs one lakh by armed robbers in Bilaspur area this evening when they were returning to that city after collecting the money, police said.
Salesmen, Shyam Kumar and Rahul Kumar, employees of Bulandshahr trader Sanjiv Kumar, had come to Mandi Shyam Nagar and Bilaspur to collect money from shops.
"They were returning to Bulandshahar on their motor bike when robbers came on another motor bike and overpowered them at gunpoint and fled away with cash," police said.
One of the salesmen also suffered injuries after felling down during a clash with robbers, they said.

They then informed the owner who has lodged complaint with the police, they said, adding manhunt has been launched to trace the robbers.
