The accused have been identified as headmistresses Hema Velani and Geeta Chawla and clerk Hitasha Mansharamani of Sri Gangaram Singh National English School at Ulhasnagar township, senior police inspector V C Dolas of the Vitthalwadi police station said.
One of the trustees Daulat Peshumal Valnani, of the Hyderabad Sindh National Collegiate Board, Mumbai which runs the school had registered a complaint against the trio with the police, after which an FIR was registered.
The trio have been booked under sections, including 420 (cheating) and 406 (criminal breach of trust).
No arrest have been made in this connection so far, the police officer said adding that further probe was on.
