Two teachers of a school in West Bengal's Nadia district were arrested by police for allegedly misbehaving with two girl students of class 9 , a police officer said today.
The two teachers of the school were arrested after the parents of the two girls lodged police complaint against them yesterday evening, the officer said.
One of the girl alleged that a teacher had hugged her and also proposed marriage to her, police said.
Another student had alleged that a teacher had touched her inappropriately and misbehaved with her.
Both the incidents took place in the school last week, the police added.
Both the teachers were produced before a court here today which remanded them to 14-days judicial custody.
