Hemant Choudhary and Sukhbeer Jatav entered into a coach of Lucknow-bound Padmavati Express last night and tried to snatch mobile phone from a passenger.
However, they were overpowered by the fellow passengers and when the train reached Dasna railway station here, the two were handed over to local police, they said.
One of their accomplice Rahul managed to escape.
The robbers used to loot train passengers and after executing the robbery, they would get down at the next station. Police have recovered some stolen mobiles from their possession.
