India's Udayan Mane, playing only his second full season as a professional, added a two-under 70 to his first round score of 69 to move to tied 13th place at the halfway stage of the Indonesia Open golf tournament, here today.
The 26-year-old Bengaluru golfer, whose coach Vijay Divecha is also Anirban Lahiri's mentor, overcame an early double bogey but five birdies over the next nine holes put him in a good position.
A late bogey on 16th, where he faltered for the second day running, was a bit of a setback.
In-form Gaganjeet Bhullar (67-73) and Khalin Joshi (71- 69), who was second at Take Solutions Masters, were tied 19th.
Among other Indians, Ajeetesh Sandhu (71-72) and Arjun Prasad (72-71) were tied 44th, while Honey Baisoya (72-72) was tied 54th.
Daniel Chopra (71-72) also made the cut in tied 44th place. Himmat Rai was three-under with three more holes to play in second round.
Aman Raj (77-69), Sujjan Singh (75-71) and Jeev Milkha Singh (78-73) missed the cut. Jyoti Randhawa retired after the first round of 76.
Bhullar, who shot five-under in the first round, had a rough first nine, which was the backstretch of the Pondok Indah Golf Course.
Bhullar, starting on the 10th, was one-under through five holes, before he bogeyed three times in four holes between 15th and 18th. Over the next three holes, he had two birdies on first and third with a bogey in between on second. The rest were pars.
Khalin Joshi shot a 69 with four birdies and one bogey and was also tied 19th.
