The UDF government in Kerala is in no way different from the central BJP administration in implementing policies and programmes, CPI(M) state secretary, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan alleged today.
He was inaugurating the Calicut University Employees Union's annual meet.
Describing the BJP government as "pro-corporate" on issues like land acquisition and labour law amendment, Balakrishnan alleged that the UDF government was following the footsteps of the centre.
"Giving approval for the tender of Adani group in Vizhinjam project is a fine example," he said.
The KPCC president V M Sudheeran had also said recently that corruption is rampant in the state, Balakrishnan said.
Later, he visited the fire ravaged S M Street in the city.
