Socialist Janata Democratic Party today said the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) in Kerala, of which it is a constituent, would register an impressive victory in the Lok Sabha polls.
"UDF will come out with a better performance than it had achieved in the 2009 election. The high percentage of polling in the state is an indication favourable to the UDF," SJD state president M P Veerendra Kumar told reporters here.
He said whenever the polling percentages had gone up, UDF has emerged victorious.
Veerendra Kumar, the UDF candidate in Palakkad parliamentary constituency, said he was hopeful of winning the seat.
