Ulhasnagar civic poll: Omi Kalani's nomination form rejected

The nomination form of Omi Kalani for the Ulhasnagar municipal corporation poll was today rejected, officials said.
Omi is the son of jailed former MLA Pappu alias Suresh Kalani and had filed the nomination as an independent candidate.
"Omi's form was rejected following objections raised over it," the returning officer for the poll said.
