She said Advani has very good relation with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and he would never get annoyed with the elevation of Gujarat Chief as the Chairman of BJP's Lok Sabha Poll Campaign Committee.
"Modi is like a son to him. It was Advani who had made Modi the Chief Minister of Gujarat and he (Modi) used to manage Advani's constituency all along," Uma told reporters on Advani's decision to resign from all party posts.
Uma, who like Advani, had stayed away from the party's National Executive meet in Goa on the ground of poor health, said that despite being not well, she would be leaving for New Delhi to meet Advani tomorrow morning.
The BJP leader said she was not aware of the reasons behind Advani suddenly taking this decision but added the party would convince him not to leave the organisation.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan preferred to remain silent on the issue when approached by reporters.
