The UN nuclear agency is set to close the books on a decade-long probe of allegations that Iran worked on atomic arms.
The 35-nation board of the International Atomic Energy Agency is expected to approve a resolution Tuesday that ends the investigation.
An EU statement obtained before delivery reflects the will to move on after the agency assessed that Iran likely worked on elements of a nuclear weapon.
Unlike previous statements, it avoids criticism of Iran, saying only "we note" the IAEA conclusion.
The probe has to be formally closed as part of an Iran-six nation nuclear deal crimping present Iranian nuclear programs that could be used to make such weapons in exchange for sanctions relief for Tehran.
Iran denies any work or interest in atomic arms.
