Under-trial prisoner dies

An under-trial lodged at the district jail today died under mysterious circumstances.
Jail officials said the prisoner, Zishan (35), suddenly fell ill and was rushed to the district hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
Zishan was arrested by the Government Railway Police for possessing a knife at Shamli railway station on January 17.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
