"I am fortunate that party has given me consecutive third chance to become Member of Parliament as well as the national president of BJYM," Thakur told reporters here on the sidelines of a function.
He was here to participate in unveiling of the "world's biggest banner" carrying hundreds of slogans promoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'.
The poster with an area of 36000 sq ft, bearing photographs of all Prime Ministers of the country, including incumbent Narendra Modi, is jointly developed by the Chhattisgarh unit of BJYM and Rungta Group of Institutions (RGI). It was unveiled by Chief Minister Raman Singh.
"I have been working for the organisation and I will carry on," Thakur said.
