National President of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Anurag Thakur today dismissed reports that he was discontent over not being inducted into the Union council of ministers expanded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"I am fortunate that party has given me consecutive third chance to become Member of Parliament as well as the national president of BJYM," Thakur told reporters here on the sidelines of a function.
He was here to participate in unveiling of the "world's biggest banner" carrying hundreds of slogans promoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'.
The poster with an area of 36000 sq ft, bearing photographs of all Prime Ministers of the country, including incumbent Narendra Modi, is jointly developed by the Chhattisgarh unit of BJYM and Rungta Group of Institutions (RGI). It was unveiled by Chief Minister Raman Singh.
Name of Thakur, the three-time MP from Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh, for induction into Union cabinet had been doing rounds. However, he failed to make it in the final team.
"I have been working for the organisation and I will carry on," Thakur said.
