The Minority Affairs Minister was chairing a meeting to review the status of recruitment of minorities in Government organisations, departments, public and private sectors.
Reviewing the minorities' status in employment in government and public sector, the Minister also directed the department of personnel and training to ensure that all selection boards and committees for recruitment in government and public sector must have a member belonging to minority community.
Seeking co-operation of CII, FICCI and PHDCCI for the entrepreneurship development of minorities, the minister asked them to join hands with the the Ministry as a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility for Skill Development.
