Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Mahendra Nath Pandey and general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal today held a meeting with office bearers of party's various cells and departments and told them to gear up for the general elections.
"Under the mission 2019, we have to work as per the work plan of the organisation to bag 74-plus seats. We have get into preparations for the Lok Sabha election," Pandey said at the state BJP headquarters here. He urged the party workers to inform the common people about the various schemes of the Centre and state government.
Hitting out at the Opposition, Pandey added, "Political parties like the Congress, SP and BSP have forged an unholy alliance to stop Prime Minister Narendra Modi from coming to power at the Centre once again. But, the people of the country are with the BJP."
