The BJP and the RSS today held a coordination meeting here in which senior leaders from the party and the Sangh discussed several issues.
The meeting was attended by senior leaders of the Uttar Pradesh BJP and office bearers of the RSS.
"The co-ordination meeting discussed about various policies of the RSS and how the state government should run them. Apart from this, some issues pertaining to the 2019 Lok Sabha election was also discussed," a senior UP BJP leader said.
He said state BJP chief Mahendra Nath Pandey, state general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal, the heads and secretaries of various BJP regional units held interactions with a number of senior RSS office bearers.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also attended the co-ordination meeting along with his deputies, the senior UP BJP leader said.
