Chief Secretary Javed Usmani visited Noida and Greater Noida and inspected the progress of various development works being carried out.
The inauguration of a Child Institute and Hospital at sector 30 has been rescheduled for October 2, sources said.
Earlier, the hospital was to be dedicated to people on August 15 but as some work was still pending the project was delayed, they said, adding the medical staff was yet to be posted there.
Usmani is expected to soon give his report on the issue to Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, sources added.
Thereafter, the chief secretary went to Greater Noida to inspect the super speciality hospital and medical college.
