UP CM presents budget of Rs 2,74,705 cr for 2014-15

The deficit is estimated at Rs 4,132 cr; no new tax has been proposed

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today presented a budget of Rs 2,74,705 crore for FY 2014-15, with a deficit estimated at Rs 4,132 crore.

The annual budget estimates receipts at Rs 2,70,573 crore, but after adjustment of Rs 4,570 crore from public account, a saving of Rs 438 crore has been projected.

By adding the opening balance of the last fiscal of Rs 4,590 crore to Rs 438 crore, this amount is pegged at Rs 5,028 crore.
