"The CM has written a letter to the Prime Minister in this regard," an official spokesman said in a statement issued here.
The chief minister, in his letter, said that in 2015-2016 UP was getting an additional fiscal space of only Rs 7,585 crore as state share from central taxes.
He said that a burden on Rs 8,500 crore or more was expected on the state for which his government has no fiscal space.
In view of the limited resources, it would be difficult to provide entire amount for judicial system as per the recommendation of the 14th Finance Commission in the next five years without Central support, he said.
