UP gangrape: Main accused booked under NSA

The main accused in the gangrape of a 32-year-old married woman at Kailawda village here two years ago, has been booked under National Security Act.
Nazer, main accused in the case and presently lodged in jail was booked under the NSA yesterday besides other IPC sections, SHO S K Sharma said.
He along with Irshad were arrested in January for allegedly raping the woman, filming the incident and circulating it on social media. The accused had been blackmailing the victim since then.
The incident had sparked widespread tension in the area.
Muzaffarnagar has reported two cases of gangrape videos being circulated. A 40-year-old married health worker had allegedly committed suicide on January 13 after video of her gangrape was uploaded on social media.
