Teachers' group member Jagvir Kishore Jain raised the matter during the Zero Hour through a breach of privilege motion and alleged that he got a threat call on July 4 for protesting against illegal slaughter houses in Aligarh.
"The caller said that you have to face serious repercussions, if you raise the matter," Jain said, adding that he had informed the DGP and local SSP about it but no action was taken.
Teachers' group leader Om Prakash Sharma said that the officers who ignored the member's complaint should be summoned in the House and the person who issued the threat should be identified through surveillance.
Pandey ordered the government to probe the matter within a week and reserved his decision on the matter.
