UP govt to daily inform Centre on coal shortage on Twitter

UP government officials will assess coal shortage in the state on a daily basis and inform the Centre by posting it on Twitter, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said.
"The industry in the state cannot progress without power.. The power crisis in the state today is only because the Centre is not providing required coal...Center has not yet replied to this complaint of the state government", the chief minister said.
"We will tell our officials to assess the coal shortage on a daily basis and inform the Centre by posting it on Twitter", he said in his address at an entrepreneurs convention here.
The chief minister while promising all facilities for entrepreneurs said that from next month he would fix one day every month for meeting with entrepreneurs to solve their problems.
"I will try to meet entrepreneurs one day every month. Next month I will fix one day. Entrepreneurs can directly come and meet me, chief secretary and other senior officials who would be present immediately solve their problems", he said.
He also stressed on making a "single-window clearance system" for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) a reality.
Emphasising on importance of industry, he said the countries which had taken agriculture and industry along have developed in the world and said that besides bringing new industry it was also important to ensure as to how our existing industries could flourish.
Akhilesh also said that his government "promptly" provided land for AIIMS in Rae Bareli on coming to power unlike the previous government which was "punished by the electorate for their attitude".
