UP teacher held for attempting to rape student

Police have arrested a 26-year-old teacher of a private school for allegedly trying to rape his 22-year-old student in Muzaffarnagar.
According to SP (city) Ombir Singh, the accused has been identified as Ajay Sharma, who ran a coaching centre in the New Mandi area in Muzaffarnagar.
The incident took place on September 5 at Singh's coaching centre.
An FIR has been registered against him under relevant sections of the IPC.
