Traders said sluggish demand against adequate stocks position kept pressure on urad and masoor prices.
In the national capital, Urad and its dal chilka local were down by Rs 50 each to Rs 7,700-8,100 and Rs 8,500-8,700 per quintal respectively.
Urad dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 8,700-9,300 and Rs 9,100-9,400 per quintal respectively.
Maoor small and bold also shed Rs 50 each at Rs 6,550-6,650 and Rs 6,550-6,750 per quintal respectively. Its dal local and best quality traded lower by the same margin to Rs 7,600-7,700 and Rs 7,700-7,800 per quintal respectively.
