US Consul General calls on TN Governor

Consul General Phillip A Min of the US Consulate General in Chennai today called on Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah at the Raj Bhavan.
Rosaiah presented a shawl and a memento to him, an official communication from the Raj Bhavan said.
During the meeting, the Consul General observed that US economy was the world's largest importer of goods and third largest exporter.
Rosaiah said Tamil Nadu was an educational hub and it is a front ranking state with industrial friendly policies and also known for its rich culture, heritage and architecture. It is also a tourist destination and keen on exploring new avenues in trade, commerce,industry and tourism.
The Governor expressed hope for more investment in India, particularly in Tamil Nadu.
