Altogether nine US companies participated in the exhibition to showcase their mining equipment including Cummins, Caterpillar, Timken India, Eriez Magnetics, General Kinematics Corporation, Goodyear India and TerraSource Global.
Companies from Australia, China, Czech Republic, Germany and the UK also participated in the IMME.
Inaugurating the US pavilion, Consul General Helen LaFave said, "The mining sector is critical to meet India's energy and infrastructure growth needs. It is also one of the world's largest users of mining and mineral processing equipment and the US has strong capability in mining, and our companies have been trusted suppliers of high-capacity advanced technology solutions to India's largest mining companies such as Coal India.
