For the full year, the company gave order intake guidance of Rs 3,500-3,700 crore.
In a BSE filing, VA Tech WABAG said it has "won orders worth Rs 1,000 crore during the first quarter of financial year 2016."
It further said: "The company has guided an order intake in the range of Rs 3,500-3,700 crore for financial year 2016."
Elaborating on the orders it received the company said it has got Rs 580 crore order for sewage treatment plant in Bahrain, Rs 220 crore order of raw water treatment plant in Nigeria, Rs 85 crore pre treatment plant order in Saudi Arabia and Rs 65 crore order for waste water treatment plant in Egypt.
