Road-roller driver Naval Kishor Roy (35), who was engaged in work, was crushed to death by an unidentified vehicle on the southern flank of the AJC Bose Road flyover which violated the 'no entry' board from west to east in front of Rabindra Sadan at around 3.45 am, police said.
Roy, a resident of Bihar's Bhagabanpur, was found in the morning and was declared brought dead when taken to the nearby state-run hospital, they said.
A case has been registered at the Hastings Police Station against unknown vehicle and police were checking CCTV footages of the said spot, they added.
