A local court here today extended the judicial custody of two accused in the murder of alleged gangster Vicky Tyagi, till March 30.
Chief judicial magistrate Narender Kumar extended the judicial custody of the main accused, who claims to be a juvenile, and Brijbir Singh, in the murder case till March 30.
While main accused, lodged in Varanasi jail, did not appear in court, Singh, who was put up in the district jail, was brought before the court amidst tight security.
Tyagi was shot dead in a court room during hearing here on February 16. While the main accused was arrested on the spot, Brijbir was arrested later.
The deceased was one of the accused in the 2011 Barkali case, in which eight people of a family were killed.
