Mumbra near here was brutally killed by some unknown persons in the wee hours today, police said.
The victim, identified as Sultan Zaveri, was attacked with wooden sticks in his shop at around 2 AM, said senior inspector S M Munde of Mumbra police station.
Police suspect that the murder was the fallout of old enmity because nothing from his parlour was found to be stolen.
A case under section 302 (murder) of IPC is registered against unknown persons.
