Videocon d2h launches TV application for smartphones

Direct-to-home satellite TV services provider Videocon d2h has launched a mobile application to enable its subscribers watch TV programmes on their smartphones.
Viewers would be able to access more than 70 live television channels, besides more than 3,000 movies as well as videos, according to a company statement.
Existing Videocon d2h subscribers would be able to view these television channels for Rs 60 per month, the statement said.
"This is an important move for Videocon d2h, as we strengthen our commitment to introducing new technologies to our subscribers, allowing them to have a robust and enhanced experience while viewing our contents," Videocon d2h Executive Chairman Saurabh Dhoot said in the statement.
