Vigilance sleuths trap revenue officer in Bihar

Vigilence sleuth today caught red handed the Revenue Officer of Raika Block of Bihar's Madhubani district while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000.
Vigilance officials said the officer, Narayan Jha was demanding the bribe from one Sujit Kumar for the mutation of a piece of land.
"Jha was caught while taking the money at his residence at Laheriaganj under Town police station in Madhubani," said Vigilance DSP Maharaja Kanishka Kumar.
The officer has been arrested and will be produced at the Special Vigilance Court at Muzaffarpur tomorrow.
