Villagers rescued 15-feet python, trafficker arrested
Press Trust of India Rangiya (Assam) A 15 feet long python was rescued from a trafficker by villagers this morning.
According to forest officials, a person was carrying the 15 feet long and 20 kg weighed python when villagers at Gurkuchi stopped him.
The trafficker was carrying the python to outside Assam.
The public then detained the person and rescued the python.
Latter it was handed over to the forest officer of North Kamrup division and police arrested the trafficker.
