Vineet Rai will replace midfielder Dhanpal Ganesh in the national football team camp for next month's Hero Intercontinental Cup.
Dhanpal, who is suffering from typhoid, had assembled along with all the other summoned players for the camp that commenced in Mumbai yesterday.
Players from Bengaluru FC will be reporting from tomorrow after finishing their club commitments for the AFC Cup, an AIFF media release said.
Hosts India will kick-off their campaign in the inaugural edition of the Hero Intercontinental Cup at Mumbai Football Arena on June 1, when Stephen Constantine's men face Chinese Taipei in a tournament also featuring New Zealand and Kenya.
